Procedures

Enrollment and Withdrawals
Enrollment is the act of registering with this institution, either through a contract in which you commit to making deposits in an agreed amount and at regular intervals (Voluntary Savings), or through your Cesantías, from the date of your application onwards, which your employer must deposit or transfer to the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro.

Partial Cesantías withdrawals may be used for: purchase of housing or a lot, construction or improvement of housing, release of a mortgage lien, purchase of State-owned shares, payments toward a spouse's FNA loan, or education (tuition or fees). A definitive Cesantías withdrawal may be made for: employment termination, employment termination with remaining balance, withdrawal on behalf of a deceased member, or transfers to private funds.
Loan procedures
This is the housing loan granted by the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro to the member through their Cesantías, available under the modalities of new or used home purchase, construction or improvement of housing, and release of a mortgage lien.
This is the means by which the member of the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro formalizes the approved Housing Loan.
The means by which the member of the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro requests that their Cesantías be applied to their Housing Loan under the future installments modality.

Ownership procedures
This is a change in the debtor on record as a result of the dissolution of a marital estate. The new borrower must meet all requirements established by the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro.
Insurance procedures
The means by which the member insures the property given as collateral to the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro under housing loans.
The means by which the member requests coverage for the beneficiaries of a housing loan approved by the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro, provided that the insured party is a different person from the borrower bearing the loan obligation. In all cases, the FNA assumes the role of policyholder and primary beneficiary.
