Fitch Ratings affirms Fondo Nacional del Ahorro at the highest category as a loan portfolio servicer
- The international rating agency highlighted the Entity's financial strength, operational capacity, corporate governance, and technological infrastructure.
Bogotá, June 19, 2026. Fitch Ratings affirmed the rating of the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro (FNA) as a primary servicer of financial credit assets at the RPS1-(col) category, the highest level on its national scale for this type of entity, while also maintaining a Stable Outlook.
The decision reflects the rating agency's confidence in the FNA's ability to efficiently manage its loan portfolio, backed by a strong financial position, a robust corporate governance framework, well-established management processes, and a strategy focused on expanding access to housing solutions for more Colombians.
In its analysis, Fitch highlighted the growth of the portfolio managed by the Entity, as well as the development of new products aimed at facilitating access to mortgage credit, especially for lower-income households.
The rating agency also highlighted the Fund's portfolio management capabilities, supported by highly automated processes, preventive monitoring mechanisms for risk management, and an operational structure that maintains high service standards for members.
It also acknowledged the FNA's ongoing investment in technological infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, and institutional strengthening, factors that help ensure efficient and secure operations.
The affirmation of this rating is a vote of confidence in the management of the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro and reaffirms its commitment to continuing to offer solutions that help more Colombians move from dreaming of a home to owning one.
