Mi Techo Propio Subsidy

"Mi Techo Propio" is a subsidy granted by the Alcaldía de Barranquilla, designed to facilitate the acquisition of Vivienda de Interés Social (VIS) or Vivienda de Interés Prioritario (VIP) for families in vulnerable situations.
This program will benefit 10,000 individuals, providing a unique opportunity to access dignified and safe housing.

Who can apply?
Residents of Barranquilla.
Households with total monthly income not exceeding the equivalent of four (4) SMMLV.
Individuals in SISBEN and Red Unidos, community mothers, victims of violence, senior citizens, Afro-Colombian and indigenous communities, among others.

Loan installment subsidy
Applies to families that are beneficiaries of the non-concurrent district subsidy, with a mortgage loan or housing leasing.

Requirements
Be of legal age (with a valid citizenship ID or foreigner ID)
Not having received a family subsidy, except for exceptions*
Be a resident of the city of Barranquilla
Not owning a home in Colombia, except for exceptions*
Authorize the construction company to submit the application for the district subsidy.
Note: Beneficiaries of the non-concurrent subsidy for the acquisition of VIS or VIP housing through a mortgage loan or a housing leasing contract will also have the option to apply for the loan installment subsidy.
