  2. Managerial, tactical, and operational strengthening centered on the affiliate.
  3. Leverage technology and data for strategic decision-making.
  4. A team committed to the entity and to excellence in service to affiliates.

Functions

The Fondo Nacional del Ahorro shall have the following functions:

  • Collect the Cesantías of affiliates in accordance with current regulations.
  • Protect said Auxilio de Cesantías against the loss of the currency's purchasing power, as provided by the present law.
  • Carry out mortgage credit programs for the purchase of housing that allow for the improvement of problems our affiliates face in this regard, with criteria of social justice and impartiality in assignment. To this end, it may enter into agreements with family compensation funds, solidarity economy entities, and public or private, national or international entities. In fulfilling its purpose and functions, the Fondo Nacional del Ahorro shall not directly undertake or contract the construction of housing.
  • Administer national resources of the family housing subsidy assigned to it for the construction, acquisition, and release of mortgage liens on social-interest housing for affiliates, in accordance with Ley 3ª de 1991.
  • Require guarantees and contract insurance policies necessary to protect the mortgage portfolio, the entity's assets and property interests, and other risks whose coverage is deemed socially and economically beneficial to affiliates.
  • Establish appropriate methods and instruments, as well as constitute sufficient reserves, to timely meet the Cesantías liability in favor of affiliates.
  • Promote national savings and channel it toward the financing of projects of special importance for the development of the FNA's purpose.
  • Any other functions set forth in current regulations.

About Us

In order for the entity to fulfill its proposed goal, we have established a series of strategic objectives accompanied by proper planning and programming, thereby ensuring flawless execution in the interest of our affiliates.
