Bogotá, D.C., July 25, 2026. — The National Savings Fund (Fondo Nacional del Ahorro – FNA) is taking a decisive step in its institutional transformation process with the launch of Digital Credit, an initiative led by President Laura Roa Zeidán that enables Colombians to apply for a home loan from anywhere in the country.
Starting today, affiliates can begin their application online from a mobile phone or computer in just a few steps, without the need to travel, stand in line, or endure long waiting times.
“We are transforming the way Colombians access homeownership. We remain focused on becoming a closer, more agile institution designed around people's real-life needs. Digital Credit is not just about technology; it is about making the path easier for those who dream of owning a home.” — Laura Roa Zeidán, President of FNA
A SIMPLE, AGILE PROCESS WITHIN EVERYONE'S REACH
With Digital Credit, users can complete the main stages of the process online: loan simulation, prequalification, application submission, document upload, credit analysis, and final response. Everything is managed through an intuitive platform that guides affiliates step by step and allows them to track their application status in real time.
The model operates through a hybrid approach, combining digital efficiency with the legal requirements that ensure the security of the transaction, such as the signing of deeds and the establishment of guarantees.
This new system reduces processing times, eases congestion at service centers, and expands access to FNA products, particularly for those who have historically faced barriers to obtaining financing.
Up to 100% | 10–800 Available Amounts | 5–30 Years |
Special rates of UVR + 0, UVR + 2, and UVR + 3 are available for lower-income households, with differentiated conditions based on the affiliate’s income level.
GREATER ACCESS, BETTER CONDITIONS
Through Digital Credit, FNA strengthens its value proposition as one of the country’s most solid alternatives for home financing. Currently, FNA is the only institution that finances up to 100% of a property's value for its affiliates, particularly for VIS (social interest housing) intended as a primary residence, with no down payment required.
In addition, it offers competitive interest rates and differentiated conditions based on income level, including options such as UVR + 0, UVR + 2, and UVR + 3 for lower-income households.
Loans are available to affiliates enrolled through severance funds or Voluntary Contractual Savings (AVC), with financing amounts ranging from 10 to 800 monthly minimum wages and repayment terms from 5 up to 30 years, depending on the product type and amortization system.
A CHANGE THAT MAKES LIFE EASIER FOR COLOMBIANS
Digital Credit responds to a clear need: making access to home financing simpler through a straightforward, transparent, and user-friendly process. The tool saves time, streamlines procedures, and allows applicants to track every stage of their application.
With this initiative, the National Savings Fund reaffirms its commitment to financial inclusion, institutional modernization, and real access to housing for thousands of Colombians who now see a greater opportunity to stop paying rent and achieve the dream of owning a home.
