FNA Disburses COP 7.84 Trillion and Helps 66,600 Families Achieve Homeownership in Colombia
- Between August 2022 and June 2026, FNA helped 66,600 Colombian families acquire a home, with disbursements exceeding COP 7.84 trillion. This achievement comes amid a dynamic housing market, particularly within the Social Interest Housing (VIS) and Priority Interest Housing (VIP) segments, where the institution has played a decisive role.
Bogotá, Friday, July 17, 2026. — The elimination of the down payment requirement marks one of the most significant advances. FNA remains the only financial institution in Colombia offering financing of up to 100% of a property's value, enabling thousands of families to achieve homeownership without making an initial payment. This is complemented by competitive interest rates that reinforce its social mission.
“Today, the National Savings Fund is synonymous with real opportunities for Colombians. We are reaching people who have historically been excluded from the financial system, enabling them to purchase a home without a down payment and under favorable conditions. This not only transforms lives but also boosts the country’s economy,” said Laura Roa Zeidán, President of FNA.
Support for housing supply has also been a key driver. Through its Builder Credit program, FNA has approved more than COP 1.35 trillion for 110 projects in 21 departments and 58 municipalities, enabling the construction of more than 16,000 VIS and VIP housing units and generating over 27,000 jobs, contributing to regional development.
Sustainability has gained prominence within the institution’s strategy. Through its Green Line financing program, FNA has financed more than COP 253 billion in environmentally certified projects, promoting responsible urban growth.
Savings continue to be a cornerstone of housing finance. The Fund currently manages more than COP 14 trillion in severance funds and voluntary savings, positioning itself as one of the leading institutions promoting a savings culture in Colombia. Its severance fund campaign achieved a record collection of COP 4.47 trillion, surpassing institutional targets.
Another important advancement can be seen in financial inclusion. The implementation of a differentiated credit score model has expanded lending opportunities for self-employed and informal workers, facilitating their access to the formal financial system.
FNA has also strengthened its presence throughout the country. The opening and reactivation of service points, together with housing fairs, have benefited more than 85,000 people, connecting families with real financing solutions.
Young people have become a strategic segment. Through the Generación FNA program, more than 21,100 young Colombians have achieved homeownership, and nearly 32% of disbursements have been granted to individuals between 18 and 28 years old.
In line with its social mission, FNA has expanded its portfolio of housing solutions by incorporating home improvement loans without mortgage collateral and associative financing schemes that broaden its reach.
With these results, the National Savings Fund is not only responding to the dynamics of Colombia’s housing market but also helping drive its growth. Its financing model of up to 100% of a property's value, combined with competitive conditions, has enabled thousands of Colombians to own a home today.
